I want to install a break module in my dads o4 ford pick-up for xmas present. Seems to be all wired from dash to bach. I has a wireing harnis. I have the controler. So question is how easy it it to do this myself. I have done it on my 72 chevy but not a newer vehicle like this.

THanks

I would think the 99 would have the same setup. Just go on any site that sell hitches and wiring harnesses for towing and they usually tell what you need when you put in your year make and model.

What about for a 99 F150, does it have the same set up?

this is very easy to do. I have an '04 f150 new style and i believe it is similar on others. The brake controller just needs a harnes wired to it and its color coded and then it just plugs in under the dash. The back of the truck gets a harness that plugs in and your ready. On the f150 you get a fuse to activate the power going back to the trailer for charging the battery etc.
