The tool box factory is probably across the street from the Lincoln Electric factory that assembled my mig welder.

well, the ones without ball bearing drawers are junk anyway. Far as i know, the ball bearing ones are made in the US.

I have and have had a few Craftsman tool boxes. None of them with the ball bearings, just slides on the drawers. Haven't had any problems with any of them yet...other than the one that fell out of the pickup and landed on it's side damaging the drawers and slides. But then any brand of tool box most likely would be in the same shape.

The ball-bearing ones used to be made by Waterloo. I think they still are. Pretty good boxes for the price.

used to be made by Waterloo in Pocahontas,AR the plant shut down this year. They may still be made in IA
