International 504 placement of hydrolic filter

can someone please tell us where the hydrolic filter is located on my international 504 tractor. it was manufactured in the 60's...
any help would be appreiciated...

filter is under a cast cover brake pedal side of tractor sort of oval shape

Ellen, can't help directly with your question, but having just purchased a 504 I was just shopping for owner's manual and parts book. Found a source for them on this very web site. Look at top of opening page under "manuals". I decided to go for both, and will continue looking for shop manuals, etc.

I got to believe you'll find the answer in one or both of those manuals.

Although my 504 is in pretty good shape, it will certainly require some sort of TLC, with it being 30 some years old!
