I have just completed restoring a Framall A and found my digital camera a very valuable tool. In prevoius work I spent a lot of time documenting how things were put together. With this restoration I simpley took pictures. As I was reassembling the tractor I used the pictures to "remember" how things went together. I found the carera one of the most useful tools in the restoration. I would rank it as important as my air compressor. It sure saved me a lot of time and mistakes in reassembley.

Tyler, I too have just finished a Farmall "A" for a man in Tucson. I took digital vedio of the whole process. I will now edit it and put it on a vedio cassett and give it to the guy when I take his tractor back. Just so happened I had my camera with me the other day in the mountains. Run up on a big bull elk. So pictures like that are mixed in with the restoration. Makes a nice gift for the guy that has put out big bucks for a job. Hope it makes him forget about the money for a while. Later

A camera shot sure helps with that failing memory.

Now, where did I put that thing? What was it that I was going to take a picture of?
Which picture was it that showed what it was that I'm trying to put back together?

As you can see.... some things can't be solved with a camera. But I agree, they're really handy.
