When the ground is frozen in the winter, GOOD LUCK trying to get a post in.

the winters here in southeastern ohio arent all that bad around here the ground is more soggy and wet than frozen most of the time. the only thing i was really concerned about is the post moving a little when the ground does freeze some.i see the contractor/fence builders doing it all winter so i assume it can be done witout having any problems

Hi ric,

What you might consider using is 1/8" 7x7 galvanized air craft cable. Large diameter so easy to see, more stretching strength (1700psi) and cheap, about $37/1000ft delivered. Drawback is you have to order over a $1000 worth at a time to get free shipping.
