I need to get a die grinder. We had Snap On Grinders at work. What grinder have you had good luck with? I have a couple of older Craftsman tools. Is there a source for parts other than Sears? Thanks in advance. J.

Dotco, Sioux (owned by Snap-On) are both real good.

I have bought some Ingersol Rand through Harbor Freight catalogue. no trouble out of any. One even had 1/8" and 1/4" collets. I like it so I can use Dremel attachments. I've had them about 10 years. One is straight the other is 90 deg.

Whats the Model No on your Sears? First 3 digits before "." ID mfg.Often parts are available from source and MUCH cheaper than Sears(Who orders the parts from the mfg, marks them up,charges you outrageous shipping, and has mfg direct ship to you, thereby making profit on parts, shipping w/o ever seeing/handling the parts),plus the charges on yer Sears Card :(
In most fields Sears has become simply a clearing house and order assembly point.
