I have a SV sickle rivet tool for removing and installing sections in a sickle bar. My problem is that the punch part has broken off and I can't seem to find a replacement. I have found the part for a modle R3030, but it doesn't fit my tool. I can't locate the model number of the tool I have, nor any place to contact SV Tools. Has anyone had this problem or any suggestions on what to do? Thanks for any help.

Here is a little trick that might help you. If the punch that you have is a little to big to fit your riviting fixture you might chuck it in a drill press, turn it fairly slow and use a small disc grinder to shape it "sort of a poor mans lathe" Hope this helps Snuffy

I would have to agree with Big Jake, sure will help your blood pressure and religion, much easier to make replacements.

I found one for mine at Farm&Fleet maybe a machine shop could turn one out for you or file the one you found and make it fit.

I would switch to using bolts on my sections.
I haven't ran into a guard yet that wouldn't clear them!
