OT: How to attach a picture or link

I'd like to be able to post pictures and links here as many are able to do. I realize that I could do the research myself, but I'm guessing that one or more computer-proficient contributors on this forum can furnish enough information to get me up and running quickly.

On a related topic, is the system for posting pictures here the same as for posting pictures on Craigslist? The instructions there seemed to indicate that pictures have to be at a different site which is then accessed through a link which is placed in the Craigslist ad. Clearly, my understanding of this is sketchy.

Thanks, Stan

Thanks everyone; very good, specific advice and instructions. I'm not at all surprised, but still I am grateful.

Stan

Pictures for SF Craigslist come right from my pictures in my computer. I load them from a digital camera and access them for Craigslist. Same for eBay. I once signed up for Village Photo, but was unable to make heads or tails of it. I have quite a few unknown tools to show here, so someday maybe....

If you want small photos like in the galleries, just
go to GALLERIES on the left side of this page select
whatever category fits, and follow the instructions. If you want larger photos, try this

You have to use HTML code to hyper link
a good place to learn is:

HTML Code Tutorial

The code for this looks like this:
[a href=http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com]HTML Code Tutorial[/a]

except; like another post the [] are actually < >

don't forget the http:// in front of the web address

HTML coding will also let you put multiple pictures in a single post

Here is a manual way of posting links. I cant use the actual symble because it would link on my answer.

So, replace < with [ and replace > with ]

<URL=www.ebay.com>put your link title here</URL>

Neat Stuff Cheap will take you to eBay
