I bought one of these impact guns new used it from time to time but not for regular shop use and the thing quits hammering in forward works great in reverse it's only just over2 years old with little work time on it.I have a cornwell 3/8 drive I use alot and it never gives a lick of trouble.Anyone know what to do or who to call and see if there is a problem with these impacts.Like I said little use probably would be about the same as 2 weeks at a tire shop use time.

There is no better impact than the 2135TI. However, nothing is perfect. Make sure you have a few drops of air tool oil in the gun, rotate the power setting from high to low and back to high, and fully push your forward and reverse buttons in to ensure they're seated. If that fails, you can go to the Ingersoll-Rand website and find a service center. They also have a 1-800 number that should be on a decal that should be on your impact. If you have a Cornwell or other mobile tool Dealer in your area, they can probably help you. I believe the gun is only warrantied for a year. Not using an impact is probably worse on it than using it hard daily. good luck,

This is very true the 2135ti or any IR product for that matter is very reliable with very little maintenance( a few drops of oil ) have owned several impacts and the IR has held up now for over 2 years of being used almost everyday and have never had a problem
