the problem with the jeep was some sort of black colored crap in the fuel tank along with water in the gas from sitting around with no gas in the gas tank (condensation).

----- >HENCE the reason why in the owners manual it says to always try to leave the gas tank relatively full as possible.

However, i'm replacing the fuel pump too as it registered 35 psi and only .15 gallon per minute.

Unbelieveable how I thought I was going to get off throwing parts at it.

Thank you all for providing ideas. Obviously i'm taking it to diagnostics next time if something else happens down the road.

loss of power, hesitation these ar symptoms of not enough fuel pressure. TPS has more to do with transmission shift points and OD and converter lockup with electricaly comtrolled tranny although it can cause fuel pulse width error. all of these things I have learned from 15 years of dealing with the same dodge magnum motor 250K miles same truck. things just seem to change but always stay the same. Know if I could just figure out how to get better gas mileage!!!!

It's a stick. But yeah, I got the idea now. Should've known, but oh well.
