Apparently I know nothing of electronic gizmos as I put a new throttle position sensor on it, and NOTHING changed. (Hereee I go, stupid me throwing parts at something!!)

*To the gentlemen who suggested unplugging the oxygen sensor- I unplugged it and now the Jeep doesn't hesistate hardly any. It also seems to idle better, and does not stall out when I reach a stop sign with it unplugged. Could this be the problem?

From what i've gathered, it could be fuel strainer, pinched lines, pressure regulator, and crankshaft position sensor!!! I'm gonna die...

Here's the deal, the problem with your jeep could be any number of things. However, one good test is worth a 1000 guesses. What you need to do after ensuring that there are no damaged connectors, pinched wires, or a component not connected, is to see what the engine contoller sees. That means you need a scan tool hooked up to the vehicle so, you can monitor data. You should also perform a fuel pressure test to rule out fuel issues. It will get very expensive throwing parts at the jeep using the dart board method of repair, hoping for a bullseye. You may want to take the jeep to a shop and pay for an hours labor for them to diagnose the symptoms. You may be able to fix what they find but, that hours labor could be alot cheaper in the long run than buying a bunch of parts that you don't need. Good luck,

Rob, It could be worse I spent over 500.00 on my 95 Grand Cherokee looking for a bad ground. The shop worked on it for 5 days to find and fix it`s problems. Shop rate of 65.00 an hour they didn`t make anything!

Rob,

You might also want to check your fuel pump pressure. My Dodge pick up had a hesitation problem..could not figure it out. Then the fuel pump went out. Installed a new one...and presto...no more hesitation. Just an idea.
