I have an old (power craft I think from Montgomery Ward) Impact wrench that broke on me last week. The motor runs fine but a rubber type part in the impact hammer broke. Does anyone know where I might be able to get repair parts for it?? The model number is TPC 9363B. I really like the old wrench but it is over 35 years old. Maybe its just time for a new one. Thanks.

B. Jones,

Maybe you can track down the manufacturer of your impact wrench? Here's a web page that may help...

I have a couple of the cheap impact wrenches, cambell hausefield, etc., and they're essentially worthless. Run just fine but have no torque. Picked up a old beat up brand name one off of Craigs list, even being worn it beats the pants off the cheap ones.

Hi Yugrotcart,

I've always been curious where your handle---Yugrotcart---comes from. I hope you don't mind me asking.

All the best, Stan

Stan, read his name backwards.

Thanks, Ron. I don't usually overlook the obvious, particularly when it's that obvious. Somehow I got fixated on thinking there was some kind of cryptic message in there. What I was worried about, though, was that it was a family name. I couldn't think of a tactful way to ask where a person would be from to have a name like that. I think I'll take a break now---maybe chew some gum, or go for a walk.

All the best, Stan
