Hello, I am writing to hopefully get some information on this machine. I bought a house from a 80yr old gentelmen who believed in the old school.HE LEFT ME THE TRACTOR. It"s been sitting in my garage for 3yrs. I"ve driven it a couple times in my back yard just to pull a small yard trailer around. It has a snowblower attachment, that I took off that works. There is no deck. I have someone who saw the tractor and is overly anxious to purchase it from me. I dont know what it"s worth and have ZERO knowledge about it. I"m guessing it"s late 1960s early 1970s but thats just an uneducated guess. It"s real heavy duty. They just don"t make things like that anymore. Maybe I should keep it? Anyone with any information PLEASE HELP! Thanks CHRIS

KEEP IT. But that advice is coming from someone who owns 3, a 100, a 125 and a 1250. I really like them and probably would be considered a collector but I do mow with them and use them. If you just don't want it and want to sell, look on eBay and watch a couple sell to get an idea what they are worth.

If this tractor has a cast iron differential, a fella told me he likes them to build a pulling garden tractor, because they are practically indestructible. not sure if this is cast or not.

This has a cast rear end, but it is a hydro, pullers like gear drive transmission.

If you have any use for it and can find a deck, keep it. I still mow a big lawn with a cub cadet model 100 which were made from 61-63. It cost 130 + 200 to overhaul 20 years ago and has run ever since. Lee

Chris,
an old Cub is worth what someone will pay for it. I have seen them sell for as little as $50.00 and as much as 4-500.00. If the tractor runs good, and the snow blower works good, not all rusted and beat, I would probably toss $400.00-$450.00 at him as see what he says. If he is overly anxious to buy it, you might as well get all you can out of it. the snow blower gives it a little more value than a plain tractor this time of year.
