I have a broken off grease zerk on the front wheel of my David Brown. I'm thinking of using an easy out on it, but am open to suggestion. Should I use heat?

Came right out last night with no problems. Turns out I had some easy outs at home, but they were too big for the job.

I went out and bought a tool to take it out.

I would suggest PB-Blaster and an easy out. Too much heat (acetylene torch) will melt what"s left of your fitting faster than you can imagine, been there and done that. Good luck with whatever you try. Billy

My zerk kit has an extractor with it. Common problem and there is a tool made just the right size for removing broken zerks.
