Is there some reason we can't have a baseball game at some civilized time, like Sat or Sun afternoon? Last night the Rockies game started at 8:00 Colorado time. I gave up at midnight or so. Woke up just as it ended (in the 11th) right close to 1:00 in the morning, Colorado time. That would be 3:00 AM for you New Yorkers.

I also used to watch baseball a lot but lost interest when they got so greedy and went on strike a number of years ago.

Shoot, I can remember listening to the Cubs playing baseball on the radio while mowing the fields. That can tell you how old I am.

I was born in Illinois. My Dad can still recite the starting line up for the 1959 team, was that the year they went to the world series? I was 5 yrs old then. They made a pretty good run at it this year, maybe next year....

TV schedule now takes priority, game must be timed for audience share. TV money is more than stadium gate money- top payer decides time. RN.
