I have a 2 inch. well that is 50 ft. deep. Pulled the check and went back down with my big taper tap and screwed it into the tailpipe that is on the 4 ft. screen.
Also have a slam tool hooked to the taper tap so I can get a good pull---BUT the screen won't come up.
Have pulled many this way--tried to back the taper out of the screen but it just unhooked--went back down with the pipe and got some lucky with the wife praying and was able to reconnect everything---but can't pull it up.
Any thoughts????? ?
My chaser pipe is only 1 inch. should have used 1 1/4 I guess.
Gave it a little pull with the backhoe bucket and pulled the smaller chain into.

thanks

Yea, wells are set up a lot different here in southern MN clay than you have, so couldn't get anywhere with what you are trying.

Sounds like you have a sandpoint type well, like my friend in Wisconsin. Poke a hole 20 ft in the ground and you got water, amazing. Don't get that here in the south. Sorry, cannot help you otherwise.

Here in the south the screen is screwed onto the end of the casing pipe, it cant be pulled up thru the pipe, you have to pull the casing pipe to get it out. Not sure of how yours is set up tho.

Just my 2 worth.

Randy
