Sandblaster Pot - same pressure in all lines?

Hi. There seems to be lots of good discussion on blasting at the site so I hope someone can shed some light... I think I searched the archives for enough time to see there probably wasn't an answer to my question.

I picked up a rather large pressured sandblasting pot at an auction several years ago and have been exploring the idea of using it (not really set up to try water with it).

Problem - some of the air line plumbing is missing and there are three places where air pressure should be used... a line to the top of the sand, a second line that goes to the blasting nozzle, and a third line that goes just behind the sand as it leaves the bottom of the pot.

There is a pressure control valve on the line entering the top of the pot but it's just hanging there from a hose.

Question: Should all the lines have the same working air pressures or would it be maybe better if one is lower or higher, etc.

Any thoughts someone has and is willing to share?

Thanks for the input so far but let me try to clarify something that might not have been that clear from the way I posted... There are indeed three air lines - and of course the sand hose that also goes to the nozzle.

I forgot TP Tools didn't have blasters anymore. Other places still have parts for old Truman, San-blast and Linsay blasters. They took the diagram of old blasters and lines off site now. Might check with brutmfg.com too. You put air in at top of pot and better to have a tee there with choker valve and another hose that runs down to a cross on bottom instead of a tee. With cross can plug bottom and then have a clean out if needed. Yours could have had a remote type gun and that may be what other line was for. See the remote type nozzle guns at marcousa.com

Same pressure in all lines? Yes, but there's no separate pressure line to the nozzle.

Go check out blasters at tptools.com or marcousa.com for some ideas. What you see on top is a bypass line should have another valve on it. That helps put more pressure on sand in pot to push it through on days with more humidity or wet sand. Water is added after out at nozzle for wet blasting not in the blasting pot. Wet sand and wet air will plug flow up a bottom of sand pot.

Generally there is a main input line to Pot,which presurizes sealed pot,and a secondary line to "mixer T"where output line attaches.Full pressure goes to pot thru main gate valve.Secondary line is also valved and adjusted to allow assistance w/flow depending on humidity,dampness of sand etc on an ongoing basis.Air blaster should ALWAYS have dry sand and if water is used for dust control etc,it would be siphoned into flow"downline"from pot.
-Many "wet blasters" are not air powered but a pressure washer with sand added by siphon action like detergent would be,after the pump.
