Modine Garage Heater problem

Got a Modine 75,000 BTU heater from a auction and I am in the process of hooking it up. There isnt a place to hook up a thermostat. It has three wires coming out of a junction box with a two position toggle switch. A black wire, white wire and a red wire. I hooked 110volts up to the black and the white wire pushed the switch up and the fan comes on, push it down and it wont run. If I connect the red wire with the black wire and the fan will come on in the down position of the switch. Where do I hook up a thermostat on this model it is a Modine PA175A heater. No transformer, just wires going from the junction box to the regulater and somewhere in side the heater, I assume a thermal button. The pilot light is lit but wont turn the burners on. Any ideas how to get this to work?

If I could see it. Need to know what it's gas valve is. Could be milli volt/power pile, 24 volt AC, or line volt/115 AC.

With no transformer hooked up to it and just wires from the junction box, I think that it is 110 volt regulator
