I've got one ... but I'm in Ontario, Canada. Actually I've got a whole (working) compressor with a 30 gal tank.

Liability has forced the compressors to be more cost effective than buying parts. They have no control of what our mind might dream up after the sale.

I have seen in person what can happen. The explosion is something you would-- simply put ---not believe, and I have done some real dumb stuff in my life. It was discussed on this fourm a year or so ago, and I'm led to believe that the oil vapor from the very old compressor was forced into the tank. Then the pump ran so long that it got hot and sparked the oil vapors. I recall probably four 2 x 8's overhed just busted into small slivers.

Burden's Surplus center has them also.

I have a wheel barrow type from this outfit which has been good for me but keep in mind that they are not certified.

Needed a new tank this spring. Priced out a new tank from Grainger. By the time I would have it installed under my old motor and head it was cheaper to go to Tool Town and buy a new 30 gal. 5HP Puma compressor. Plus I now have a new head and motor to boot.I plan on building a bracket and mounting my old head and motor in parrallel with the new one so I can have added capacity when I sandblast.
