I had two bi-metal hole saws that were dull. It was tough to file the teeth to sharpen them, so this morning I got out my B&D rotary tool and put in one of those mini cutoff discs that came in my accessories assortment. That worked real nice to sharpen the teeth on both the leading and trailing edges. Lots easier than using a file and does a better job. Used up about half of the small disc sharpening two hole saws.

If you like the electric dremel tools you will love the little mini air tool from HF.
Uses dremel bits and does not get hot from using it for a while.
I used mine the other day to cut door hinge pins from a car. 5 min per door :)

That is a heck of a good idea.Always hate to pitch a holesaw when its dull although I do tend to break a tooth now and then in steel. I have used my dremel to sharpen my chainsaw blades ever since I found the special grinding bit for that. Works like a charm and quick too. Also use it with a diamond bit to take out broken bolts. Those dremel tools are worth their weigh thats for sure!

Use my Dremmel for sharpening chain saws as well as regular saw blades. Use a round grinding tool same dia as saw file, and have learend to free hand as accurately as that stupid guage I have for filing. Lots faster too. Dremmel is one of my most used tools!

A bit of an odd question, but does anybody know where the name Dremel came from? Is it an acronym, or somebody"s name, or ? Always wondered about that.

Handy tool, no doubt about it.
