I have a cub Lo-Boy Ser# 028282. The rear main seal is leaking. Is it a 1 or 2 piece seal? Can I change the seal by just taking off the oil pan? Can someone tell me where I can get some help? Gary

This suggestion will not meet with universal approval. You have a leak. Sounds as if you are committed to stopping the leak. May take some expense and effort to do so. Why not try one low-cost (about $3.00) experiment first. Use Bars Leak or similar product for 6 to 8 hours running time. May help, may not. Unlikely to cause harm. If it does not work, your repair bill ( to which you are already psychologically committed )is up by $3.00. Mine leaked both front and rear. Engine ran so well that I did not want to disassemble it. Eliminated 99% of my leaks.

Thank, I tried the oil, stop leak sh*t. Worked a couple of hours, then started to leak again. Looks easy to do, just need to know how to get the drive shaft out? Got it off at fly wheel, just need to get it of the gear box?
