I have 4 air cylinder operated 8" aluminum slide valves I took off an old hopper bin assembly I bought at work. These are like you would have on the bottom of a cyclone shaped grain bin hopper.
At work we just call them bin slides, but there must be a common name for them. One I've heard is 'knife gate valve'. I'm thinking of listing them on fleabay if they cleanup and work ok. I just need a common name for them for the listing. Any ideas?

"gate valve" seems about right. Also, in the item title maybe put grain bin, or something else that will come up if someone does a search.

Tahnks, I checked these over yesterday and applied air to the cylinders. 2 of them seem ok and 2 of them I'm going to junk. I also pulled 4 good Bindicator level indicators off this system.
These tested good and are in good condition, so I've already listed them on Fleabay.
