HELLO, I"M GOING TO START REFINISHING MY PATIO TRACTOR . WANTED TO KNOW , IS IT OK TO PAINT THIS HOOD. I BELIEVE THE HOOD IS A BLUE FIBERGLASS , NOT PAINTED. I HAVE SEEN OTHER ONES THAT WERE REDONE, BUT THEY HAD PAINTED HOODS, DOS"NT THIS TAKE AWAY FROM IT BEING ORIGINAL ? THANKS

Well, if you paint the hood, then no, it won't be original. But--why worry--if it makes it look good, don't worry. A good looking tractor is much better looking than one that had everything refinished except the rough old fibreglas hood. And, if you refinish everything but the hood--everybody will say: :Oh, look, he made it look crappy!"
