Hi Dan,

In response to a question about a Dynamic welder on August 20th, you mentioned that something you had once been interested in doing was building a welder out of a war surplus aircraft generator. I have a 200 amp DC aircraft generator, supposedly unused---definitely unused by me--which I bought as a portable welder several years ago on eBay. The seller told me that all it would require was a 10 hp motor to run it.

I'm seriously trying to get rid of a lot of the vast accumulation of things I've collected which I have no current or foreseeable future use for, and this generator/welder falls in that category. Please e-mail me if you might be interested.
