Try the pulley off of a JD mower conditioner they are a tapered fit spline not sure if they are that size or not or a grain head for a combine. Also might be able to put one of those tin pulleys on the face and bolt it to the cast one to hold it with the belt groove over the cast rim to keep it centered just shim with a strip of steel.

Are you saying that the splined shaft the hub must fit is tapered?

I havnt got the orginal pulley off Bob, its on a JD 830 windrower it drives the wobble box. The JD dealership here, parts guy, says it shows tapered in the parts picture. Want to rig up a bigger diameter pulley to speed the siclke up alittle. I guess to answer your question. yes the shaft is tapered according to the JD parts man. Havnt pulled the pulley to make sure. Thanks
