I have 2 dewalt 4-1/2" grinders, a dewalt sawsall, and a 14v xrp battery drill. I am very pleased with the performance of all of them. Although I did manage to kill the sawsall, it had just done 4-1/2 days in the crawl space of a house cutting out 2-1/2 and 3 inch steam pipe into 8-10 ft. pieces. I had used it hard before that. (When it quit it was covered in dirt.)

And I replaced it with another DeWalt sawsall.

One of the 4-1/2" grinders has ran a cup wire brush and had de-rusted I don't know how many tractors for re-paint. You can look through the vents and see dust in the motor.

I am well pleased with DeWalt and will definately consider them when I purchase another tool.

Good luck. I have nothing good to say about Dewalt/Delta.
