valve seat cutter

I've got several full size Sioux valve grinder and seat cutter sets - bought mostly from closed-out machine shops over the past 40 years. This stuff can be pricey, an so are the replacemet parts e.g. diamonds, stones, etc.

But, maybe 30 years ago, I bought new - a Nuway hand driven valve-seat cutter kit - it uses carbide cutters. I've used it many times on smaller farm tractors and it's been great. I've never had to buy a single replacement part for it and they are still in business. My set came with a 45, a 30, and a 15 degree holder and cutters besides a bunch of different size arbors. I paid $120 at the time, I think the set cost over $300 now. There is a similar set on Ebay right now - with a minimum $50 price. Item # 140137941672
