This is probably a unsual question for this forum, however: Does anyone know how far apart the pins should be for the game of Quates/Horseshoes?

Try google under horse shoes. There was a site a few years back that listed the regulations. About all I can remember is that it is usually a little further than I could pitch.

Having never heard of Quates I looked for my self. Think it is listed under Quoits. Seems to be a variation of horseshoes where the pit is slate instead of sand? Anyway the distance listed was 18 feet.
