Try using Sea Foam. It was originally designed for marine applications. I am guessing that since you have an outboard setup with a 90 gallon tank you have a late model motor(s) with oil injection. The other choice for marine fuel rejuvenation is PRI-G.

I have a large tank on my boat and I don"t get enough hours on it to keep the fuel fresh as I would like it. I have been using Sea Foam on a regular basis and have had no problems. PRI-G was suggested by the West Marine dealer one year when I had 2-year old fuel(long story why I couldn"t get on the lake). Put the suggested amount in and had no problems at all.

Good luck.

I would hesitate to use it in a 2-stroke. The alcohol can dilute the lubricity of the oil mix.

why would you want to put dry gas in a 2-cycle engine? If the gas gets old from non-use and takes on moisture, dump it out and put in fresh gas.

Tim: It's very common in engines that are run in cold weather, such as snowmobiles. Many sledders (including myself) carry a bottle with them, as even fresh gas can have water, and it doesn't take much to freeze up a fuel system, which can make for a long, cold walk home.

Billpa: Making the obvious assumption that you're asking whether or not you can add dry gas to your regular 2-cycle mix, the answer is yes. Don't add too much, however--2-cycles tend to be pickier than 4-strokes with regard to what they like to drink, and too much can cause starting and running problems.

Sure, why not? There is still oil in gas to lube parts. Didn't make it over today. Doug
