Thought I would let you know , while nosing around K-Mart tonight , I found that they had 15 oz. cans of Penske Engine Degreaser on blue light special for .82 ea. they also had Penske Penetrating oil in a 12 oz. can for .82 ea. .

If you need a good degreaser , you might want to check your local K-Mart next time you are out and see if they have them on special .

As far as the penetrating oil , I am going to see if it is any good and will let you know .

All I've got to loose is .82 !

Mr. muscle oven cleaner works very good. Just spray it on, let it work, and then wash off with cold water

You darn whippersnappers! I can remember back in '02 when we used to make degreaser out of old shoelaces and oatmeal! We didn't have any fancy schmancy spray can! *Cough, wheeze* Heck, I can remember back when we didn't even HAVE grease to be degreased! *Gasp, hack* Why if I'd have had .82 cents when I was your age, coulda bought me a ranch with 200 head of cattle and a wife. *Gag, hiccup, wheeeee eze* And another thing..... ..

Old Geezer:

This is what Nomad apparently can't grab ahold to(philosophical questions about why we old tractor
lovers love them and comraderie among old iron lovers). Anyway yours was a classic response. Thanks for the grins.

I tried that oatmeal and shoelace degreaser once, and it didn't work. Maybe I had the wrong type of oatmeal. I used instant oatmeal figuring it would work faster.

Dad !

It's good to hear from you again !

At least you sound like my Dad !

I have heard all of the stories about stationary bailers , no electricity and all of that from him ....

Anyway , I tried the degreaser and it is pretty good . The lube spray is foamy and seems pretty good also .

You can also get a can of oven cleaner that is real powerful stuff, need plenty of ventilation with it or it'll knock your socks off. It's so powerful that you got to watch what you use it on, including your skin. L8R----Fred OH
