O.T. How do you keep deer out of purple hull peas? I have one little garden spot with 8 row, I'm getting peas off of it but about a 100ft from them is another little garden spot with peas with 14 short row. They're eating them up. Got a radio playing there but they are still eating them.
Thanks Eddie

If you have a zoo or circus near you, get some lion or tiger poop. Deer recognize predators even if they are from the other side of the world.

Of course, I would love to find someone near here that needed help thinning out the deer population.

As kids my brother and I hated peas, but our milk cow seemed to love them. Every time she got out she headed straight for the pea patch. Sometimes it would be a long time before we "noticed" she was out of the pasture! Made the milk kinda green though. Good luck with the deer. Mike

eddie, either put some rap music in there(i cannot stand that noise) or try off mosquito spray on a rag. an old smelly sweat soaked shirt. irish spring soap. Vinegar and whole egg blended up and spray it on a shirt. or, simply spend a night waiting for them then blast a shotgun over their head.
you are just lucky the racoon don't like them!
