Here is what I am doing this fall on my 20 acre CSA.

I have looked at running power to this remote field etc. I have decided on 2 of these pumps with 20' wells (shallow). This will be used to drip water the crops and pumps will also handle fertilizer if I want to inject it.

I have heard good comments about the performance of these PACER PUMPS.

Maybe this is a solution.

Thanks Shep, that sure is inexpensive for a pump. I'm currently putting up a pole barn about 50' from the well. After the inspectors leave, I'll be running some power out there for stuff like this.

not sure but if I were doing that - I think you would be better off to pump into a tank and let gravity feed the drip hose also the pump will last a lot longer = it works good for me. jim

Hey Jim!

THANKS and what a great idea!
Not sure why I didn't think of that earlier. First part of this yr. I've been hauling 55 gal drums up to that field doing just that.

Thanks again for the great idea and reduced costs!

Hi Shep - I have 2 plastic totes "food grade" they each hold about 250 gals. I mounted them on an old army trailer = works good - Jim
