I finished the onboard air compressor in my jeep and now need some tools. I picked up a Husky 250 ft/lbs impact gun and need some sockets. Where can I get some sets at a reasonable price that won't take a month to deliver (like Harbor Freight).

The one thing in my toolbox that I do not scrimp on is Impact Sockets. Once you've had a socket explode and scatter itself across the shop, or helped another guy to the emergency room because a socket exploded in his hand while it was spinning, you won't want anything but the best name brands. The cheap ones are so thick and bulky you won't use them, Because they won't FIT anywhere. Buy them cheap, but get the good ones. Pawn shops for me has been a great source. John

Point taken. What are the good brands then? I have some pawn shops around me so we'll see.

Tibor, I often find odd mismatched brands in the pawn shop bins. Just leave anything that is too rounded out looking, most tool companies won't warranty for wear. Craftsman, Snap-on, Mac, Matco, S-K, are some I have in my box. Be wary of anything that is shiny black and has no brand name, if they aren't proud enough to name it, it should stay right where it is. If the drive end is hammered out looking it will be hard on your impacts drive, and pressure is also lost on the impact stroke. Check eBay too. John
