Think the name went away in 93 or so. I have quite a few Bonney tools, just never needed to warranty a wrench. See Bonney tools on Ebay that date back to the 20s. John

They became part of the Triangle Corp. (Utica, Bonney and Diamond.)

Then were purchased by Cooper who discontinued the Bonney range about 5 years ago, maybe longer.

Larry,

While looking through my Snap-on industrial catalog (seperate catalog Pg N6) I noticed the Bonney Name listed under the Snap-on special products division. Looks like Snap-on may have purchased rights to the name.

Interesting. What tools do they list? Bonney had a few unique tools like a snap-opening wrench for tubing that they were famous for and something that had value.

What valuable tools did Snap-On pick up?

Hi Larry G. hope all is well with you and yours.

Are you talking about the ratcheting flare nut wrenches? If so, other brands have these tools like Wright and Armstrong however, after my last run-in with armstrong, I won't be purchasing anything of theres no matter how good it is or how bad I need it.

Good to see you posting somewhere even if you are still mad at me. Have a great day Larry!

Bonney and snap-on have same tool with each name.
The Flare nut-crowsfoot are the same, and what a nifty tool when you need it!!!

I have some Bonney double open end wrenches that are not the size as marked. Example, a 9/16 fits a 3/4" nut. One marked 7/16" is not the same size as another that is marked 7/16".????? I need some information on these fellers ????? ??

You will probably find the wrench marked 9/16 that fits 3/4 is B.S.W (British Standard Whitworth)The system they use works from bolt diameter and not AF (Across the Flat)measurements

Bonney's warranty is no longer good, but the Harry J. Epstein Co. bought all the remaining Bonney inventory. It's huge. It's posted on their website www.harryepstein.com
