green machine weed eater

I have an excellent weed eater by green machine and have some how lost the lid to the fuel tank on it. How can I get a replacement? Nothing we have tried works.

If you google "green machine weed eater", you'll get lots of hits. Click on one of the dealers and provide the necessary information. You should have no trouble buying what you need. Might be even easier (and cheaper) if you have a green machine dealer in your area.

I thought Green Machine was discontinued 15-20 years ago. I found my first one in a town dump about then. A couple of years ago it developed a cracked gas tank which I repaired with plastic gas tank epoxy. Later I found another one at a scrap yard, but the tank is too cracked to repair. I have had no luck in locating a new tank.
