Quincy 5120 FIXED!!!!!

Hey Roger, I finally got the old monster fixed, they gave me a bad Hyd.Unloader.I also didn"t fully under stand how to adjust the valve hold downs til tonight.I know understand, how to do it, I got it runin fine.It sound so good now. I didn"t know that the towers came apart like they did, and now I understand how to adjust them, I just adjust them til there is just enough pressure to hold down the valves from turnin, and not TOO much to break the valve cover.Thanks again for all your help your TOO much!!!!

Hey thanks again, I hope for some free time too.I am goin to Knoxvill TN this next week for the F100 Supernationals!!I have a1956F100 Ford truck.It has been posted on the classic trucks forum photos page, it is named PEGYSU.I think now that I know a little more, I will take apart my 325Quincy, and clean and resurface all the valves in it.Sometimes it acts funny when it starts up.I have never took the valve assembly apart, just cleaned the outsides.Thanks again, and GOD bless.
