What's the biggest wrench you ever saw? I saw a Snap - On socket set that went to 12 inches - the rachet head had hanldles on it, you put the socket on, put the ratchet head on, and put the handle on. The handle was made of tubing and came in 2 pieces, totaling maybe 10 ft. It was used to turn leveling screws on large machine bases at a machine builder I worked for long, long, ago.

The largest wrench I ever saw was on the USS Enterprise CVN65 nuclear aircraft carrier, it was hoisted in on a large crane to fit the propeller nut. if I remeber right, the prop weighed in around 20 ton. What a sight.

The largest wrench I used was compound torque wrench that was used on the Jesus nut on a chinoke(sp)chopper. Sarge said "don't spell it-fix it".

If he ever got paid for it! If the p/n had an industrial mark (v) in it the supervisor gets the credit not the van distributor! CENTAUR
