I used a product from the local Southern States Co-op. Its called SAHARA. Small granular product, mix with water. After two weeks all that's green goes to dirt, and stays dirt.
Great for fencerows, too.

Just a couple of cents here. I love the high power stuff. If you can get it from your local guy with a license is Toradon pellets. "Spelling" The stuff is about a couple of big bucks but just a COUPLE of pellets will kill, wild rose bushes, trees, grass, honey locust and anything else. Not cheep stuff to buy. Now for the enviromental crowd. On "You Bet Your Garden" radio show. He says to use straight vinegar. The acid will knock the PH right off the scale and will wash out after a few rains. I got rid of snake grass with vinegar. Just go buy a few gallons of the cheep stuff. Jeffcat

You have to be carful with Tordon. It moves with the water. Any neighbors below you "may" see damage if they catch your runoff. Very hot product.

Roundup. Buy the bottles of concentrate and a 2 gallon sprayer. Spray around your house on a calm day. Wait a few days for most everything to die, and spray again to get the few stragglers that are left.

Don't buy Ortho, or any of the generic crap. Get Roundup.

There are many generic brands of glyphosate -- Farm stores, Coop's etc have them. It is as good as Roundup (It is the SAME as Roundup, except for the surfactants) at half the price. Don't confuse it with the dilute stuff sold by Walmart or Home Depot. This is the farm product, not the homeowner stuff. Look for the 4 lb/gallon mixture, may also say 41 or 43% if I remember right. Mix it at a rate of about 1 pt to 1 qt/acre.

I use the generic brand from the co-op. It calls for 4 oz. per gallon, but I usually make it 6 oz. so it will kill bermuda grass.
