I've been using duplicolor engine paint, the stuff is tough ad looks great.

i absolutely love the versatility and ease of rustoleum grey, white and rusty metal primers. They make for a very nice finish for a cheap topcoat!! They sure do beat anything else for a quick spray job!!!!!

I have used the aersol cans of Rustoleum crystal clear enamel for a top coat on my tractor. did it 6 months ago still looks like freshly painted paint with the wet shiny look.

Krylon needs to put money in their product instead of advertising. I have never used their spray can paint that it didn't spit the paint.

Agree totally. Repainting a livestock trailer and using aerosol spray cans to lightly primer. The off breed stuff, including Krylon, doesn't cover or dry right. Will be shooting the paint with either my airless or air gun, just didn't want to buy that much primer I wouldn't use up. Just wish I would have bought 3 more cans of rustoleum red, it took twice as many cans of the s*** to cover the last few feet I had left with much poorer results.

No comparison. Rustoleum is great paint. Especially if you use it with the rusty metal primer. When cured good it even holds up really well on the underside of mower decks.

I use both Rustoleum and Krylon fluorescent spray paint on crab buoys, the Rustoleum fades quickly, Krylon's holding up a little better, If anyone has any tricks for making it last awhile I'd appreciate it.
By the way, I emailed Rustoleum about this problem, never got a response. That kind of surprised me that they won't respond, and this was to the help line in customer relations, maybe they're relocating the help line to Elbonia.
