Give us just a little bit more info, like what is it installed on. Marvel carbs were used on darn near every kind of tractor and forklift, welder, etc, know to mankind, but they do have variations. Tractor supply has overhaul kits for some of the more common models on tractors.

Model nr tag is riveted to the bowl on the blind side of the choke fly shaft. See that teardrop shape outline in the lower left side of the picture?

If your choke shaft is still in there with the linkage on the engine side then the tag is missing. If the choke shaft has been pulled out the tag may still be on the engine side. Use a mirrow to look back, shine it up some, tag is brass.

I have the same-looking carb on a 1954 Towmotor forklift with the Continental engine. The parts are still available? The ethanol has really gummed mine up, to the point where it will barely run.

Yes you can still get almost every part that you might need for them. M-S carbs are very common and theres also only a few sizes of them. I.E. the kits for the most part are made to fit a wide range of them

Well first off what is the tractor??? 2nd its a M-S carb as you can see by what it says on it. If you remove the carb from the tractor on the back side there should be a brass tag that will tell you which M-S carb it is. Now if thats a ford N series tractor that carb will be one of 4 carbs, which are the TSX33 or TSX241A,B,orC

From what I see all you will need is the main gasket. You might even be able to save that if you careful loosing the screws first and tapping with a light hammer to break the two halves loose.Soak this gasket in warm water before you assemble. The important thing is to blow it out with lots of air (volume)and the wetter the air the better. If you soak it good.Do not give up the original internal BRASS parts since they were correct as I would not trust a (new) kit.If there is rust in the bottom use acid. That carburetor is a plain TSX M/S. Is this a 9N? You can pick up a reman for $80, I do not know where you could get a kit unless they were all the same.
