My motor just bit the dust. Must not totally have been junk, I have had it since 1985. It says Eagle Machinery on it. Is there any website that might have parts?

I have one of these bandsaws that is 25 years old have replaced motor once about two years ago . It uses a standerd type 48/52 base with a 5.8 shaft, I replaced the 3/4 HP with a 1 HP single phase 110 volt motor other than that I had to shim up rollers on guide . They are good units for the home shop for the money you pay for them
Have had trouble getting blades from time to time but have a local Harbor Freight now and they have blades .

I have one I bought used some time ago that had the motor replaced. On mine, just about any fractional horsepower motor would fit - the mount is pretty much standard.

TRK: Ignore the name brand--that's just something slapped on the side before it goes out the door. Almost everything on these is interchangeable between brands so if you can find a replacemnt for a similar saw, it should either bolt right on or do so with minor modifications. Here's a site with a re-power of one of these saws that may give you some pointers.
