OT: ATV rear axle removal

I know this is off topic, but I have had good luck on every posted question regarding my AC & Farmall. How do you get the rear axle out of a Honda 250X TRX 4 wheeler? Both bearing are bad and need replaced. I have the nut & locking nut loose on the brake rotor side but what do these do? Any help is apreciated.

You have to remove the locking nut and brake housing. The axle splines into the brake rotor and has to be knocked out of that side. After removing those then tap the end of the left end of the axle and it should come out to the right. The axle also slines into the rear differential thus the reason for tapping or hitting the axle. I use a piece of 2x4 on the end of the axle or put the axle nut back on until flush. Hope this helps.
