just got done with it this morning. an onan generator out of a motor home/ international baler engine gas tank and those dang doughnut spare tires.

Nice job! You should post it in the completed projects section of machinebuilders.net. If you ever want to convert it to propane, propanecarbs.com carries a conversion kit for most Onan's. Eliminates the problems associated with engines sitting around for long periods of time.

Looks good...The only thing I would change is larger mufflers , less back pressure....Other than that very ingenius....

Tail pipes after the mufflers will cut the noise even more. Looks like there is room to curve a couple feet of pipe down towards the ground. A respectable looking outfit.

Looks good, you turned a lot of scrap parts into a very usefull device. I bet that RV genset only runs 1800 rpm too, Much more calm running and much longer lived than the 3600 rpm units that are sold on price alone.
