Why don't you ask the person who stole mine ?!?

Seriously , I had a Husky 50 for about 11 or 12 years and I loved it . Never once let me down .

Someone broke into my outbuilding while I was in the hospital last week and took about $2000 worth of tools , welder , and my Husky .

A new Husky 55 ( 50 is no longer avail. ) is about $330 .

By the way , if sombody offers you a 50 at a really good price , let me know ! It might be mine !

I bought a Husky Rancher 44 about 15 yrs ago and it's still going strong. I use a Oregon brand bar. I was debating Stihl vs Husky when I went to a dealer, I let him talk me into the Husky even though he sold both brands. It was a lower price saw as they had a special on them which probably translates into he made more profit from selling me the Husky, but I've not been disappointed at all. I think they are both excellent saws.

That's funny Ray. When I went to buy one, I was considering a Husk, he sold both too. Had a better deal on the Stihl..They are both quality saws.

im a professional cutter for a big logger in norheastern new york we use husky 372xp saws these are screamers boys! best saw ive ever used and ive used em all including stihl jonsared and partner. none were as good as a husky 372 xp with a 20 inch bar. and if your interested,i consider 20 in. to be the best possible length bar u can use any thing more is a waste of money.

I got a Stihl 029. Extremely pleased. Just saw Consumer reports, out of 22 saws, Stihl had 5 models in the top ten. The #1 was a Stihl 025.

I have a Husqvarna, Stihl, and 2 by Echo. I like the Husky very much. Would buy another if needed. It almost a given that the chain oiling system on a Husky will leak where the saw is stored. Be aware and prepared.

I put up with the leaking for a long time too. One day I layed it over on it's side while I moped up the oil and forgot to set it back up. Haven't had any oil on the shelf since.
