I fired up my air compressor today to blow off some dust/dirt,etc from my Farmall 140. Noticed tha the tank guage ultimately was over about 225 PSI and the regulator was right at 100PSI (I leave the regulator open all the way. The compressor was still running, I thought I might blow it up so I shut it down immediatley. I commenced to start "dusting" the tractor and noted that the regulator was dropping down as it should, but the tank guage quit droping about 100PSI. I drained the tank of air and the tank guage stayed right at 100PSI. Will a new guage fix this?? BobG in VA

Depot about $8.00. Most of those gauges shake apart or plug up. It is good you have a brain in your head! Most people would wonder what happened after things blew up! Good job. Now for the disclamer. If you look on the side of the pipe where your switch is there is a little valve looking thing. Most have a ring in them and that is your releif valve. You should pull that little ring once or twice a year. It can be a real life saver! Best Jeffcat
