overrunning clutch

I have a sweep horsepower, where a horse walks in a circle pulling a tounge lever that turns a rack and pinion resulting in a shaft drive output that runs out 15 feet to a spped jack for running corn shellers and threshers. The shaft is 1 inch, in pillow blocks, ans turns at35-45 rpm. I want to mount some type of overrunning clutch on the shaft so when the horse stops the tounge on the sweep dosn't hit the horses legs. The PTO type overrunning clutches overrun the wrong direction. I was wondering if there was a cheap substitute, like off a baler or something. The shaft turns counter clockwise if you are looking at the horsepower.

Look at the ratcheting drive sprockets for a planter (like a Deere 7000) or a hay rake. Often on a hay rake there is one left and one right. The 7000 planter ratchet can be asembled backwards to change the direction of rotation.

Or swap the in and the out on the PTO overruning clutch.
