It is a Honda clone, you are taking your security in your own hands, if you are goona be depending on this for backup power. If you need parts for it or warranty work, it could be hard to find that for that engine or generator. I would buy either a Guardian or Briggs Portable power unit, as far as I am concerned for the money they are the best little genset on the market. I work on Generators in my shop, and I worked on a lot of generators this winter, the Guardians and Briggs have been pretty good systems. Honda makes a good generator, but they are overpriced for what you get, I think the Guardian, with the Guardian engine is ever bit as good as a Honda, at half the price or less. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for, if it looks good, but it 15-40% of others you have looked at???? Your money, your security, you make the decision.
