They are called Typhoon washers. The Waste awater is skimmed and filtered to catch the oil and debris.

you put your part in this machine. you turn it on.. the water boil to 213 degrees. it runs about a hour, clean grease right off ,clean part!!! it getting so hard to use solvent here it by county stantard... and the state step in too,so understand what am looking for ...

Hot tank / Spray cabinet.have one in my shop . Uses non caustic soap,,or you can use caustic for cast iron cleaning , does lil better job . Waste water and sludge can be ran through an Evaporator and disposed of as a solid .

You still have to dispose of the water,it became hazmat as soon as it was used for degreasing the engine block.6 of one half dozen of the other.
