I have this Mc Colluch super 44A chain saw. it runs good, but is not pretty, needs cosmetics. I understand it may be an antique. Could anyone fill me in as to its value? Thanks for your time.
Kevin

I dont know much about a Super 44A model. But it is an antique model, DO NOT modify it if you have one GUARD IT WITH YOUR LIFE. They are VERY rare now. Value is around $250

just found an super 44 today,,myself. its really in good condition except for the dust that was on it. only paint missing is on the handle ,where the salt from the users hand etook it off .. otherwise she almost looks good enough to wax. it has a repair shop tag on it that hung rite over the blade ,,so i know it hasnt been used since the fellow ,,now deceased, got it out. of course the shop could have pronounced it dead . we ll see ,as it has good compression and i want to make sure no dobber nest are anywhere in the working or exhaust.,, before i try and get her to fire.would appreciate any other info on this saw. bar dont look bad either.thanks tony
