Awhile back I was complaining about the slow speed of my internet and that the internet company claimed they weren't to blame. Well, this weekend the email quit sending and was receiving very sporatically. I was about to call them and give them a piece of my mind, but now tonight the email works fine and the net is blazing fast again. There was something on their end that wasn't right all along. Anyway, this puter is like playing with a new toy tonight. Jim

We have dial up. A little slow maybe but it works, cable is not avaiable.
At home in Michigan we have very little trouble. but here in Florida, it's a differenty story. Often hard to get connected, sometimes get hung up on. I don't remember having trouble last year. I did talk to a phone line repair man, he checked the line and said it was OK. He also stated that the phone company only had to provide a line good enough for voice, if your computer didn't work well on it there was not much they would do.

Jim

I was having about the same problem when you were. Didn"t have the E-mail shut down though. Although I was gone until Sunday.

Our ISP has problems off and on. I think we are on different towers though. (for those of you watching fixerupper and I have the same ISP)

Good Luck finding someone to answer the phone on the weekend. I have never had any!!

jt

John, about a year ago I found out the hard way that there are two numbers that can be used to contact them. There's the right one and then there's one that connects you to some national clearinghouse outfit that will contact our company. Calling them direct is MUCH quicker. Jim
